Goals and Aspirations

Everyone who writes down their goals says that they’re massively helpful. And I know that, personally, I have put this off for a long, long time. But as I head into VCE, I’ve decided that I have more than a few of these things, and that if I write them down, then perhaps I’ll have more of a chance of reaching them.

More goals will be added as I get around to them. I will cross out goals as I reach them, or make a comment about them if I fail.

Writing Goals
Goal Number One
Have 50,000 words of the first draft of my novel typed up by the end of the 30th of November, so I can win the NaNoWriMo.

Goal Number Two
Finish the second draft of my Novel by October 2010, including adding in the missing subplot.

Goal Number Three
Get published. Simple as that. Of course, getting published in reality is not very simple at all, so… this one’s going to take a lot of time, effort and patience. It may not even happen. But I can try, I can dream, and, most importantly of all, I can write.

Goal Number Four
Finish at least one long-term fanfiction by the end of the Summer holidays.
